The days of the arcade have made their way back to Erie. Play Port, Erie’s newest indoor escape from the cold, offers more than 50 games ranging from vintage to state-of-the-art.

Although Play Port is designed in true arcade fashion, save your quarters. The $10 admission includes unlimited game play during the week and 3 hours on weekends. The push-to-play button starts each game without the need for quarters or tokens.

Vintage games like Pole Position, Pac Man, Centipede and Space Invaders join the likes of the more modern interactive games like Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution. There is also a wide range of racing simulators, shooting games, air hockey and billiards. The admission also includes a 9-hole round of miniature glow-golf.

Play Port’s unique take on indoor gaming is well worth checking out. Play Port is located at 2730 W. 12th St. The hours are: Monday-Thursday: 3 to 9 p.m.; Friday: 3 to 11 p.m; Saturday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday: noon to 8 p.m. For more information about Play Port, visit their website
