New elevator being installed

Since the beginning of the Fall 2015 semester, a sizeable portion of Rose Hall's parking lot and cafe has been roped off for the safety of students as Perry Construction Company installs a brand new elevator system to traverse all floors of the building.

This project has lasted over seven months thus far and is expected to be in full operation by fall semester 2016.

The purpose of this project is to provide more efficient transportation than that provided by the current elevator in Rose. As the dorm is known for housing students with disabilities, placing a new elevator in Rose Hall was needed, especially with the recently announced closing of neighboring Earp Hall.
