Edinboro Greeks are gearing up for this April.  At 7:30 p.m. April 1 in Cole Auditorium, Phi Mu Alpha will be hosting its annual Miss Sinfonia pageant.  The theme this year is "Broadway."  Participants must compete in categories such as costume, talent and a series of questions.  Although the competitors will be primarily representatives from Greek organizations, anyone can enter as long as the person is a current Edinboro University student and pays the entrance fee of $25.

The next pageant to be held will be the annual Big Man on Campus event.  This is an event put on by Zeta Tau Alpha and will be held at 6 p.m. April 16 in Cole Auditorium.  This pageant focuses on the talented males in Edinboro.  Many of the rules and categories are similar to that of Miss Sinfonia.  Any group can send a participant with a $25 entrance fee.

These pageants' raise money for the philanthropies of these organizations.  Miss Sinfonia raises money for the Sinfonian Educational Foundation, which is a foundation that helps to provide scholarships for brothers in need.  Big Man on Campus will raise money for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, which has been the philanthropy most supported by Zeta Tau Alpha.  Both events are free to attend and are a great way of seeing how talented Edinboro's students are.
