The Pennsylvania State Pool Tournament was held at the Erie Bayfront Convention center Friday-Sunday, March 11-13. Friday consisted of all singles play, Saturday was Team play, and Sunday was Team finals as well as Ladies, though women did play on the Team and Single days.

Besides various stands offering pool-related merchandise there were also bars available throughout the convention center with various beverages at affordable rates. The convention center was nearly packed wall to wall with thousands of people, both contending for the title and cheering on their favorite local pool hall heroes.

One of the headlining attractions for the weekend was the appearance of Kelly Fisher, winner of the U.S. Open Pool Championships as well as numerous other prestigious tournaments. Fans were able to sign up to shoot against her at one of the side tables on several occasions and she graciously took photographs and held conversations while she showed off her masterful skill, defeating all challengers with ease.
