Eating dip and petting dogs at Edinboro charity event

The 2nd annual Dip N Dogs

By Nathan Hirth/

The 2nd annual Dip N Dogs took place on Oct. 26. The event was put on by the Residence Life and Housing staff as a way to raise money for charity. Dip was provided by Chartwells for the enjoyment of those who went. And different members of the Residence Life staff brought their dogs.

The event took place in the multipurpose room inside of the Pogue Student Center from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. It was free to attend, but there was a collection jar for those who wished to donate. The donations were for the Erie Humane Society.

Last year, about $300 were raised for Because You Care in McKean. The outcome was a little less this year, but the Residence Life staff expressed gratitude because every amount helps.
