On Saturday, Oct. 14, the Erie community hosted its annual Breast Cancer Walk.

This is an important event because many Erie natives suffer from this type of cancer. Every year, hundreds of Erie residents show up to support and raise money for the cause.

The walk officially started at 10 a.m. in the city park across from Romolo Chocolates and ended near the Bayfront. Afterward, all registered walkers were treated to light snacks, and they were also encouraged to shop at the vendors.
