Live From Studio B welcomes band

The television studio on the first floor of Edinboro University's Compton Hall was full of life at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, as Live From Studio B welcomed its first performers of the semester.

Live From Studio B is a video series created by members of Edinboro Media. For every episode, a local band or performer is invited to the studio for an interview and mini show.

The series kicked off late in the spring semester of 2016. Highland Rose, a four-piece rock band from Youngstown, Ohio, was the first guest of the new school year. The band (minus the drummer who could not attend) was interviewed by Roman Sabella. Sabella had met the group a few years earlier and arranged for them to come to Edinboro for the show.

After the interview, Highland Rose played an acoustic set of three songs. The two guitarists and bassist connected to one another on stage as if they had been playing as a group for 30 years, not only three. This made for a great, semi-private performance.

If readers are interested in watching the full interview and performance, they can check out Live From Studio B on YouTube. There, they can also see past episodes and keep up to date on any new releases.
