LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The PSAC today announced the 2019 all-PSAC Volleyball Teams, with a pair of Edinboro players earning recognition. Outside hitter Cierah Jackson (Berea, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) was named to the second team, while setter Alicia Eldredge (Odenton, Md./Arundel) was voted to the third team. Edinboro concluded its season on Tuesday with a 16-14 record.

EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro wrestling team will compete in the Navy Classic on Saturday, November 23 on the grounds of the Naval Academy at Wesley Brown Field House. Second-year head coach Matt Hill will bring 16 wrestlers to Annapolis. The Navy Classic will once again feature some of the top teams and wrestlers in the country.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference today released the All-PSAC Football Teams, with a total of eight Fighting Scots earning recognition. Three players were accorded first team honors – strong safety Brandon Anderson (Willingboro, N.J./Holy Cross), return specialist Ta'Nauz Gregory (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep), and offensive tackle Vitaliy Gurman (Rochester, N.Y./Spencerport). Gregory also picked up second team honors at wide receiver. He was joined on the second team by defensive end Gilberto Ortiz II (Dunkirk, N.Y./ Pine Valley/Erie CC), defensive back Aaron Rogers (Burlington, N.J./Burlington Township), offensive guard Ryan Pasternak (DuBois, Pa./DuBois Area), running back Dorian Woody (Forest Hill, Md./John Carroll/Mercersburg Academy), and placekicker Vicente Arriagada (Bliss, N.Y./Puerto Montt, Chile/Letchworth Central).

EDINBORO, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's cross country team will make its 41st appearance in the NCAA Division II National Championships on Saturday, November 23. The Fighting Scots are headed to Sacramento, Calif., with the race taking place at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course at Haggin Oaks. The women's race will start at 1 p.m. Eastern, followed by the men's race at 2:15 p.m. Eastern.

The Fighting Scots are now 12-6-3 and will await word on a potential NCAA Tournament bid on Monday. The Rock improved to 17-3-0 and earned the PSAC's automatic bid to the national tournament.

The Fighting captured the eighth and final PSAC Tournament berth on Friday night with a win at Slippery Rock. Meanwhile, Shippensburg lost to Millersville, allowing Gannon to become the number one seed in the PSAC Tournament.  Now Edinboro will meet the Lady Knights for the third time this year, this time in the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament.  The match is set for the Hammermill Center on Tuesday, November 19 at 7 p.m.

EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro wrestling team improved to 5-1 early in the season with a pair of wins in the Boro Duals on Saturday at McComb Fieldhouse. The Fighting Scots won their second Mid-American Conference match in their first season as a member of the MAC, defeating Ohio University 25-7. The ended the duals with a 51-0 win over an out-manned long Island program that is in its first year of division I competition.
