The movie portrays a really familiar looking character. Agent 47 is glamorously known for his dual pistol wielding and the black smoking with his red tie. It will be interesting how many other facts will the movie focus on.

The trailer for “Hitman: Agent 47” starts with the protagonist locked in chains in an interrogation room. Two marines are standing guard by the door while a third person is interrogating his prisoner. The prisoner states that his name is 47 (Rupert Friend) and explains to the interrogator that he is not trapped in the room with the guards, but they are trapped in there with him.

After that, Agent 47 manages to free himself from the cuffs and knock out the two soldiers and the interrogator, and finally we see him leave the room dressed as a marine. This is already a big factor because throughout the “Hitman” games, the player is tasked more than once to wear the uniform of the person he knocks out in order to walk undetected among certain areas.

Afterwards, the trailer jumps to a car chase, which ends with American Special Forces blocking 47’s car and forcing him to run.

This scene looked really well directed because the soldiers and their equipment appear very high tech and seem like they could be a challenge for 47. When 47 leave the car, this is when the iconic scene of him pulling out his dual wielding pistol is shown.

Next, there are various edited action scenes scrolling on the screen; a background story about the agent is then narrated by John Smith (Zachary Quinto) who seems to be in charge of the Special Forces unit. He explains to a terrified Katia Van Dees (Hannah Ware), that 47 is a geneticallybuilt human weapon meant to be stronger, faster and more intelligent than your typical human being.

It is not clear yet what the goal of the Agent is, but it seems that he must find the daughter of the man who created the program.

The action looks really promising and well choreographed. Throughout the trailer, Agent 47 shows a really determined and emotionless look.

“Hitman” is based on the videogame with the same name. It tells the story of the most lethal assassin and puts you in his role.

The game is known for its stealth and at the same time aggressive gameplay. Agent 47 is also known to be a professional therefore he doesn’t kill or harm innocent bystanders. There are have been 6 games total.

In 2007, a movie named “Hitman” was released, but it was poorly received by the fans of the series due to the lack of references and ties to the videogame franchise. It will be interesting to see how much the 2015 edition will impress the true fans of the series.
