The shooting occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. around 144 Meadville St. Stevenson is being held at Erie County Prison.

Edinboro University President Julie Wollman spoke to students in a recent email regarding the situation:

I am sad and deeply troubled to report that both victims of last night’s off-campus shooting incident are Edinboro University students, as is the alleged perpetrator. It is important to note that this tragic incident is believed to be a matter between these individuals and not a random event.

The individual charged with the crime is in police custody, and we have acted immediately to suspend this student.
