Late last month head football coach Scott Browning announced who his team will be playing in 2015.

Last week he announced who will be suiting up for those games.

The Edinboro football team announced 18 recruits on National Signing Day, on Feb. 6.

“We are very excited about this group of players,” Browning said via a release from the university’s sports information department. “I believe this is the most talented group of recruits we have had in a number of years. We addressed some definite needs such as the offensive line, linebacker, and running back. The coaching staff did an outstanding job throughout this process.”

This initial list of recruits includes six lineman, four linebackers, three quarterbacks and three running backs.

This group spreads across the great lakes and the tristate area. Six recruits apiece are from New York and Pennsylvania. Three others hail from Ohio and one each from New Jersey, Michigan and Virginia.

Three members of the class are transfers from junior college. They enrolled in Jan., are currently with the program and will be juniors. The rest of the list will be freshman in the fall. Additional recruits will be announced at a later date.
