August is time for blues notes at Frontier Park in Erie

The Erie Art Museum’s 22nd Annual Blues and Jazz Festival is set to go off rain or shine Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2 and 3, at Frontier Park in Erie.

Touted as the largest blues and jazz event in the region, the festival starts at noon each day with the final acts each day starting at 8 p.m.

Among the scheduled acts are The Lee Boys, the Heritage Blues Quartet, the George Burton Quintet, and Jane Bunnett & Maqueque. To volunteer to help at the free event, contact the art museum at 814-459-5477 and ask for Karen Dodson.
