Winding road leads to festivities

Upon taking a scenic route with roads that twist and turn, you'll find a nice, family friendly farm just south of Waterford on Stone Quarry Road. Once entering the farm, you can hear the laughter and pure joy this place brings to not only children but parents as well.

The farm is well decorated with many activities for everyone to enjoy. There are pumpkin catapults, hay rides, a corn maze, pedal bike races, pedal tractor races, slides and playgrounds.

Goat feeding is a hit as well as the rabbit area.  The corn box is extremely popular, with children running around playing in corn, burying each other, and enjoying it like a sand box. Pumpkins are also available for sale as well as food and drinks at various concession stands throughout the farm.

Port Farms opened its Fall Harvest Festivities on Sept. 13 and it runs until Oct. 31. They are open every day and offer a fun-filled day for everyone.
