The Roosevelts: An Intimate History is the title of PBS's newest documentary filmed by Ken Burns. On Sept. 11, the Edinboro community was among the few viewers to see clips of the series that will debut Sunday to Saturday, Sept.14 to 20, on WQLN TV.

The seven-part series covers the lives of Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt and their impact on the American people. The series details the trials and tribulations of the Roosevelt family like the American people have never seen before.

The ideals of altruism, perseverance and helping your fellow man emanate from the actions of this family. The documentary notes: "No other American Family has touched so many lives." If you would like more information on the documentary or on WQLN, please visit WQLN.org
